After a distinguished 31.5-year career at Holmes Community College, where she served as a Business Technology instructor and District Department Chair, Katrina retired in May 2020. She is now the Executive Director of the Madison County Chamber of Commerce and works as an Independent Brand Skincare Consultant for Rodan + Fields, offering life-changing skincare solutions to individuals.

Katrina has an extensive modeling background in Mississippi, appearing in print and TV ads. She also co-hosted the locally produced The GENO EVANS Show on WLBTTV3 and made appearances in the films A Time to Kill, O Brother, Where Art Thou?, and The Chamber, where she served as a stand-in for Lela Rochon.

Recognized by the Mississippi Business Journal as one of the Top 50 Businesswomen in the state, Katrina has also been honored as a Top 40 Under 40 Award winner and named one of the “Top 7 Coolest People in Mississippi” by NEXT Magazine. Throughout her career in education, she has received several prestigious awards for her contributions.

As an 11-year breast cancer survivor, Katrina is deeply involved with the American Cancer Society, where she serves as a Strides Ambassador and participates on the Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Walk Planning Team. Her journey as a survivor has led to features in commercials, newspapers, and magazines, including a documentary with Mississippi Public Broadcasting. In 2019, she was honored as a Portrait of Hope by the American Cancer Society of Central Mississippi and served as the Volunteer Chair for the 2020 Making Strides “Cruising for Cure” event.
