The DECA Foundation assists with travel expenses for winners of State Competitive events. Through participation in the Star Program, chapters will receive $150 and $100 travel stipends for first and second place individual event winners, respectively. For team events chapters receive $250 and $125 stipends per team for first and second place winners, respectively. The funds are to be used for travel to the International Career Development Conference (ICDC) only.  There is a $1000 limit per chapter.

The Jim Bowers Mississippi DECA Foundation was established for the support of the Mississippi DECA Program. In order to participate in the Star Program, chapters must make a $100 donation prior to December 31, each year. In return the chapter receives a plaque and a star the first year and a star to be added for each donation made thereafter. The DECA Foundation is a nonprofit organization funded through an endowment.
